Vinyasa
A dynamic, intermediate class that moves at a steady and fluid pace while adhering to principles of breath and alignment. Best suited to students with some prior experience and knowledge of basic form and foundation.
Power
A fun and vigorous intermediate class intended to increase energy and vitality while building strength and stamina. Best suited to students with some prior experience and knowledge of basic form and foundation. We encourage our students to modify, and take breaks when needed.
Align & Shine (Hatha)
An all levels class adhering to principles of breath and alignment, postures will be practiced in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength, flexibility, and relaxation. All levels welcome.
Yang & Yin
This class combines a more dynamic movement practice with yin yoga. First portion of the class stimulates yang energy and warms the body with a dynamic sequence and longer held standing postures, balanced by deep, cooling yin stretches on the mat.
All levels welcome.
Release & Renew
(Restorative)
Restorative yoga is a gentle, therapeutic style of yoga where props are used to support the body in restful poses. This nurturing practice focuses on restoring the central nervous system and promotes conscious relaxation.
All levels welcome.
Yin
An all levels class that targets the connective tissues and joints to maximize range of motion and increase strength. Postures are predominantly practiced on the floor and are held for several minutes.
All levels welcome.
Foundations
Foundations classes move at a slower pace with an emphasis on learning form and foundation and basic principles of vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa means 'to place in a special way’. These classes are excellent for both beginner and experienced students.
Tofino Community
Yoga
Community classes are usually taught by new teachers and are open to everyone but are not recommended for pre-natal students or anyone working with serious injury or chronic pain. Class style will be foundations level hatha or vinyasa.
